Organizational Design consultant for staffing Business Transformation
Organizational Design Consultant required for Multinational Staffing Business Transformation.
Our client - a multinational staffing firm – was looking to transform a 800-1000 strong, $200M+ segment of its Talent Solutions business.
This particular business segment managed client MSP, Temp and Gig work programs – regularly placing large contingent workforce spend under management – but was aiming to achieve a greater level of consistency in solutions across different geographies.
The talent required needed to be able to drive this desired change and support the organisation and op model design phase of the program – defining the future-state op model inclusive of services, capabilities, roles and structures, interactions and governance frameworks.
Experience with contingent workforce businesses and staffing experience and/or exposure to similar Finance/HR/IT transformations was preferred, with strong experience in internal operating model development, spanning advisory, delivery, implementation and corporate functions.
The initial phase of the work would be a full-time engagement 3 month engagement, leading into client pilots of the defined global operating model across 3 global workshops. The work was to take place in the US – as such, our client was open to US and European based talent willing to travel 4/5 days per month.
Talmix was able to put forward four candidates within 48 hours. One candidate in particular from the Talmix Talent Network caught the eye – an Organisation, People & Business Transformation Specialist with 10+ years of HR generalist experience followed by 10+ years of large scale organisation and people change experience across multinational financial and professional services organisations.
The talent’s planned proposal underpinned the importance of stakeholder management, the need to identify mindsets, and to mitigate the impacts of different responses to proposed changes quickly and efficiently. The consultant was hired within the week. After receiving client feedback at the end of the project, our talent was singled out for praise for the way that she ensured the organisation enter and exit its design phase of transformation with clear awareness of the impacts of the changes proposed, and for the way that she was able to embed the changes to ways of working across multiple global teams.
The client experience was so positive that they returned to the original Talmix Talent Pool that had been sent across, and hired another member of the network the following month.
